I am a busy mom of 4 young athletes with a doctorate in clinical nutrition and a desire to help each person reach their athletic potential.
As a three sport athlete growing up, I rarely thought about what I was eating. We were given the standard "eat carbs before a game and protein after" watered down advice.
Unfortunately, this advice led to burn out, disordered eating patterns, and me quitting sports when I got to college. Looking back on it, I can't help but wonder how much more enjoyment and longevity I could have gotten out of my time in youth sports had I been given simple guidance on how to fuel for what MY body needed.
Now, with a doctorate, master's degree, and multiple certifications in my back pocket, I'm on a mission to help athletes of all ages properly fuel, reduce risk of injury, and avoid burnout through tailored nutrition strategies.
