My name is Dr. Stephanie Machacek.

I help people get to the nutritional root cause of their health concerns based on clinical science, the latest research, and behavior change. 

With me, you don’t get thrown into a generic program that cuts out food groups just for the sake of being in a deficit. Nutrition is so much more than cutting out "junk food". Sometimes, processed foods can actually be helpful! Each nutrition strategy needs to be personalized to the individual's needs, ability, and preferences; otherwise it simply won't last. Let's work together to make sure you don’t feel deprived or desperate around your food choices .

Here’s the behind the scenes: 

The clinical side: I have a Doctorate and Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition, meaning I dive deep into the science around your symptoms, your nutrition history, and your concerns. I look at the clues from what you're experiencing, and most importantly, what your suspicions are to help you figure out the source of the issue so we can address it and get you feeling better. 

 

The behavior side: Many of us say "I know what to do, I just need to do it." I work with you on actually implementing the changes you want to make by diving deep into your motivation, your fears or friction around change, potential "blind spots" you may have, and help keep you accountable.
