Welcome to the Nutrition Detective Club for kids!
Our club is perfect for kids ages 5-12 who love learning about the impact food can have on the body and are ready to become nutrition detectives!

As parents:
we want our children to eat healthy and make smart choices when it comes to food. But getting kids excited about nutrition can be a challenge. That's where the Nutrition Detective Club comes in! We make learning about nutrition fun and engaging through detective-themed lessons and activities that will capture your child's interest and encourage their curiousity.
As you may know...
chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, fatty liver disease, and diabetes are on the rise, and unfortunately, many kids are starting to develop these as well. The good news is, healthy eating habits started at a young age can greatly reduce the risk of developing these conditions! Not to mention other benefits such as:
- improved behavior
- better quality sleep
- strong, healthy bodies
- improved concentration and focus

As part of the Nutrition Detective Club your child will:

Learn why
Learning the "why" behind something makes a huge difference! During the 8 week club your child will learn why certain foods are important and why others are not as supportive.

Find the clues
Each week a new lesson will be emailed out that talks about topics such as finding hidden sugars, how to read a label, and how their body can give them clues that it needs different food.

Go on a mission and solve the case
Each week your child will be given a "case". These are designed to have them take action on what they learned that week. When a case is complete their name is put in a drawing for prizes!
Meet your head detective
Stephanie Machacek, MS, CNS
As a clinical nutritionist, doctoral student, and mother of 4, I have a deep rooted passion for teaching people of all ages how to be their own health detective and get to the root of their symptoms.
I have worked in the nutrition and wellness field for over 12 years and most of the adults I have worked with wish they had learned more about nutrition at a younger age. Unfortunately, many of our kids simply aren't receiving the quality nutrition education that they deserve and I've made it my mission to change that.
